Hello!

I'm a scriptwriter with over 15 years of teaching experience.

I've taught classes, devised modules and led workshops and seminars at BA & MA level across a wide variety of institutions.

These include:The London Film School, UCA Farnham. Norwich University of the Arts, London Film Academy and the Metfilm school.  

I've also devised non-academic courses on screenwriting for UAL Central St Martins and the Picturehouse cinema chain. 

I've worked with new and aspiring writers on everything from feature scripts to TV pilots, shorts, experimental film and audio drama.

My approach is friendly, inclusive, supportive and always focused on the specific aims of the people I'm working with.

Well, as a screenwriter with 2 x produced features (one made by film4, the other on Netflix  and a third-hopefully!-on the way) plus commisions for Hat Trick, BBC1, Sky and Radio 4, I'm well aware of the creative challenges anyone facing trying to enter this competitive industry.  

My teaching on the craft aspects of scriptwriting is designed to demistify the process and make it enjoyable. 

Having had scripts commissioned ranging from romcoms to post apocalyptic sci-fi, I have an eclectic love for the medium and am passionate about helping writers realise their full creative potential.
